i have to put on a gallery show for my final final assignment
and I have no idea what to doooooo
i was thinking: (seriously working myself to death here)
zines
tiny handmade stuffed animal things (probably as some huge installation)
putting old sketchbook drawing in thrift store frames and having a wall of framed art
maybe making jewelery (like painting in lockets idk)
buttons (ordering these online)
probably shrinky dink pins or something
and then my regular ol art pieces
uhh
i don't even know what to title the show/where it'll be/etc/etc
and I have no idea what to doooooo

i feel sort of bad for not updating during the summer that much; i didn't do that much art honestly. at all. p(´⌒｀｡q)
but yeah!! I'm working really hard to finish my governor's school summer art assignment that's due in a week and a half, and some other summer class work.
i already have some big plans for screen printing class.
~*in other news*~- I started reading virgin suicides because I feel it is necessary for me to read and critique every 'indie' endorsed novel.
i also finished tatami galaxy and boy, that second to last episode just really got to me.
and I also bought the most recent edition of hi fructose a few days ago! i used to be really into starting a huge collection of them, but I skipped a few issues because I didn't like them and I sort of fell out of buying them.
i also found a cheaper and really nice art magazine that I'm going to start buying as well. (it's only 5 dollars, bless)

possible cosplays

i just realized that a huge ton of stuff that I want to happen is coming up soon so I needed a place to write down my horrid dress up ideas.
is it sad that the only real reason I like homestuck right now is for the cosplays???
- god tier trickster jade (most likely doing this one, probably for a con/~*major*~ event)
- trickster grimdark rose (prrrrobably going to do this just because it's simple and doesn't require a lot of time/money)
- trickster jake (maybe not i don't like jake ppbbt)
- trickster jane (maybe just for kicks idk)
- akira from tsuritama (maybe for something simple idc)
- I really really REAlly want to do heinous stuck but how??/???? (>????)
also I finally finished nichijou's anime and manga and all of the happiness that they gave me is gone
i am an adult now I think

summer to do list of things

now that AMA ended, I am eager to start on my next cosplay.
I am thinking about doing trickster god tier jade, not sure if I'm doing male or female. On one hand I can save money on a wig considering I already have a short, white one. But on the other hand, a dress would be a lot easier for me to sew the way I wanted to. oh well.
I also am thinking of doing Rigby from Regular Show. But I'm not sure what else would fit me? I'd like to do something Homestuck, but I don't think I'd be a troll again.

I also have finished making my tiny little zine for my bookmaking class, which got me an A for the final. this was my first time making/binding a book, and I'm really happy with the turn out, especially for the amount of time I did it in. I'll have pictures up later, but I totally want to do another one, complete with screenprinting, drawings and handbinding. I'm already thinking of a few ideas.
I honestly think that book was probably the most fulfilling thing I've done at GSA all year.
I've also decided to fulfill some things I had hoped to last year, like taking pictures with my film camera, and keeping a sketchbook. And actually doing my GSA project before the week it is due Our topic this year is 'Journey', and we're supposed to make a triptych, with a synthesis among all of the pieces. I have an idea , but it involves power tools and a ton of work. ugh.
Also you guys should totally give me some cool album suggestions ~
